A summer of ReBoot/OmStart

This has been a summer of soloperformances - Its been a real challange to tour ReBoot/OmStart with lightning and soundsystem to completly different places such as: a small indoor stage - at Stallet in Stockholm, a big outdoor barn - at Ransäterstämman, Värmland, and in the very small old mill at the Korrö Folkmusic Festival in Småland, and then in september to ”top it all” - There will be an an outdoor performance of ReBoot/OmStart by the birch-trees in the woods at Himlabacken, Österlen. Welcome!

First concert with new group SUSANNE ROSENBERG ENSEMBLE - SRE went excellent! The Premier concert was at outdoor museum SKANSEN in Stockholm on Midsummer’s Eve. A classic venue for folk music.
This is a picture taken just after the gig. With (from left) Adrian Jones (viola, fiddle, mandola), Jonas Bleckman (cello), Susanne Rosenberg (voice), Lisa Eriksson (accordeon), Petter Berndalen (percussion). The repertoair performed was a combination of riffbased old R7 and Rotvälta arrangemant and more lyric lovesongs and a lot of new compositions as well.
Great music! Looking forward to find ways to play with this group again - sooooon.

A few subtle bells and a discreet ocarina can also be heard. But the overall experience and enjoyment lie in her voice, which has a unique dimension of presence in all its simplicity.
She unashamedly and quite rightly calls her solo album ”New Directions in Swedish Folk Singing” with an earth-shattering ”Sun Call” to round it off.
