"Tett på" i Oslo

Ikväll var det premiär för sångerskorna Susanne Rosenberg och Kirsten Bråten-Berg att sjunga tillsammans. Det sker på en konsert på Riksscenen i Oslo. Rubriken var Tett På. Det blev en mycket fin konsert som kan höras igen! Både återutsänd i NRK den 4 maj och live på FÖRDEFESTIVALEN i sommar. Söndag den 10 juli kl 12:00.

ReBoot/OmStart drar till skogs

På lördagen den 11e September framför Susanne sin folksångsperformans ”ReBoot/OmStart” utomhus i en liten björkdunge. Hur kommer det att fungera? Ja, det vet vi efter helgen. Det kommer också att vara en workshop i Kulning.

A summer of ReBoot/OmStart

This has been a summer of soloperformances - Its been a real challange to tour ReBoot/OmStart with lightning and soundsystem to completly different places such as: a small indoor stage - at Stallet in Stockholm, a big outdoor barn - at Ransäterstämman, Värmland, and in the very small old mill at the Korrö Folkmusic Festival in Småland, and then in september to ”top it all” - There will be an an outdoor performance of ReBoot/OmStart by the birch-trees in the woods at Himlabacken, Österlen. Welcome!

She is a natural force in her prime, with graceful authority.
She delivers and entertains with complete routine.
She satisfies my appetite with the taste of a nutritious, old tradition, which with just one atmospheric breath out she places right in the present.
A few subtle bells and a discreet ocarina can also be heard. But the overall experience and enjoyment lie in her voice, which has a unique dimension of presence in all its simplicity.
She unashamedly and quite rightly calls her solo album ”New Directions in Swedish Folk Singing” with an earth-shattering ”Sun Call” to round it off.
